CINEMEDIA was formed in 1996 by Lancing resident JOHN PAYNE initially to act as a label to distribute a series of videos and DVDs local to Sussex which he produced from his archive of film, video and audio material collected over many years.

The DVDs currently available from CINEMEDIA also include rare archive film, photographs and material from other collections much of it largely unseen by the general public.
